Navigable Waters is a general information blog that addresses a number of legal topics.  The principal topics of discussion involve maritime law, the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act, but the blog is not limited to decisions or issues involving those issues of law.  As lagniappe for our Louisiana friends, Navigable Waters also addresses decisions and issues of interest in our Louisiana community.  The editors and contributors hope to demonstrate that these interesting and complex areas of law are, indeed, navigable waters.
